Bespoke Boulevard launches the community initiative – CARE FOR THE MASSES

Over the past few weeks Australia has seen some incredible innovation, and once again an incredible showcase of locals supporting locals. Having only just launched our CARE FOR THE MASSES initiative in late March, we have already seen the support of individuals and companies coming in.

The #careforthemasses platform is designed to enable companies and individuals who are able to, provide support to those in need. As we all watched the Covid-19 pandemic unravel across our beautiful sunburnt country, it caused masses of chaos and confusion. When this happened, we decided to sit down and discuss just how could we possibly help our fellow Australians in need during this time. This led us to the launching of the #careforthemasses platform and the debut of our first two campaigns:

  • SUPPLIES FOR THE MASSES- Provides #careforthemasses hampers of fresh produce, dry goods, and critical supplies to individuals and families struggling financially.
  • FOOD FOR THE FRONT-LINERS – Provides fresh, healthy ready-to-eat meals to essential employees currently serving on the frontline during this pandemic.

Having only been running for a small number of weeks, we were overwhelmed at the generosity of individuals, and local businesses coming in. Thanks to these members of the community, we have been able to deliver hampers to a number of locals Sydney charities including: Our Big Kitchen, Tribal Warrior Aboriginal Corporation, St Vincent De Paul Society NSW, Wayside Chapel and members of the local community.

Not only this, thanks to the sponsorship support of Donesafe- an OH&S workplace safety software company. On April 23rd, 2020, we were able to provide hundreds of fresh ready-to-eat meals to the front-line healthcare workers at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. It is a wonderful thing to see our caring Australian spirit shining through, willing and ready to support one another during a crisis like this.

These campaigns could not be made possible without the support of generous companies and the wider community! If you or your company would like to support or be involved in either of the #careforthemasses campaigns, please reach out to the team on hello@careforthemasses.org or 02 80767688.
